Haven’t updated in far too long, so here’s a quick recap of what I’ve been up to.  Since announcing that I’m taking commissions, I’ve been getting fairly consistent work to do in addition to my Tarot paintings.  I’m now working on a commission for a painting based on a poem by Rumi.  Pictures will be up whenever it’s finished.

I’ve also started taking drawing classes at The Grand Central Academy of Art, an atelier which offers night classes for people like me who would love to devote all their time to art but have day jobs.  I’m currently in their figure drawing and painting class and am thoroughly enjoying it.  I usually work from photographs, and working from life is a wonderful change of pace.
