Welcome friends, painters, fellow dilettantes and google stalkers to my new pet project.   Those of you who know me personally have probably heard that I’ve recently switched my work schedule around to allow me more time to explore and pursue various personal interests, including painting.  For the past four weeks or so I’ve been painting an average of two days per week and have made headway on about three pieces that I hadn’t touched in months.  I’ve found it immensely satisfying and I think I’ve been showing improvement.

With my increased productivity (and desire to show off my work) it occurred to me that starting a painting blog would allow me to both share my progress and to document any notable discoveries I make along the way.  The content of this blog is, therefore, twofold: an online image archive/portfolio of my completed works and works in progress (contained in the “media library” and linked to some posts) and as well as a log of my progress.  At least, that’s the current plan.  We’ll see where this goes.
